Proof of concept – Battery Diesel Hybrid System

Client : Corporate Tele-Communications Company

In 2009, we designed a concept for a telecommunications company to help increase the efficiency of the electrical operations and produced a proof of concept by gathering data which resulted in significant efficiency improvements on the overall system.

The conclusion of our design resulted in:

Core tangible & significant results.

The reduction of diesel consumption was at an average of 20% per month, increasing the efficiency

By increasing the efficiency with the hybrid system, the diesel generator run time was also reduced by at least 50%, increasing the generator lifespan by more than 50% due to the lesser wear and tear on the machine.

Design & Installation of Commercial Solar Panels

Client : Goodyear Malaysia Manufacturing Company

As part of Goodyear Malaysia’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in 2015, we were contracted to design, construct and install a solar panels to reduce their carbon footprint on their electrical operations. By installing 80kWp solar panels on their vacant rooftops, Goodyear was able to improve their operational efficiency by being less dependent on coal energy, resulting in an overall positive impact on their costs of operations.

Eco-friendly Solar Power Plants

Client : Komitmen Mantap Sdn Bhd Independent Power Producing Company

MY Solar Energy Sdn Bhd was involved in the design and construction of a 4MW Solar Power Plant in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, strategically located in a flood prone location. During the national state of emergency in 2014 floods, our 4MW Solar Power Plant was able to withstand the floodwater surges and the key fundamental to this was the careful planning and execution of the construction of this eco friendly infrastructure.

Solar PV, Wind and Hybrid Battery Project

Client : Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia Department Of Fisheries Malaysia

Traditionally, seaweed are dried on the platform in the middle of sea after harvesting. However, a new invention by Malaysian Government led MY SOLAR Energy Sdn Bhd into the involvement of constructing a solar PV, wind and hybrid battery project to channel power into a heat blower to intensify the heat and expedite the drying process of fish and seaweed in Solar Thermal dryer in order to increase the production capacity of the harvesting plant. The hybrid systems still exist today on the platforms along the banks of Pulau Omadal in Sabah.
